You have to Keep Your Toque On in The Yukon when Allan Gerber is in town! This guy just blew us away!! What an amazing performance he gave here at Hidden Valley Bed and Breakfast on April 9th. The town is still talking about him!! He is currently here with us at Hidden Valley Bed and Breakfast after finishing his tour of Pelly, Mayo, Dawson City, Old Crow and Inuvik. I think we have a new convert. He and his wife Robin have fallen in love with The North and The North has fallen in love with him!!
Alan Gerber’s Home Routes Performance
We have a season here in The Yukon called “Sprinter”, it is not Spring and it is not Winter. The light is advancing daily and it is now light until 9:30 PM. Yesterday we saw the swans heading north. To see them and to hear them thrills the heart!! I love it!! We still have a lot of snow, and it is warm but still cool some days….yet, we continue to clear our decks, move out the lawn furniture and anticipate the Coming of Spring!!
For Easter this year we had an Easter Egg hunt with the little ones and our first B. Q. of the season!!
